Rihanna Lands Leading Role In New Animated Movie ‘Happy Smekday’

Battleship bombing badly apparently Affected rihanna’s ability to land  movie roles , the pop singer has just landed herself the lead role in the studios new animated movie ‘Happy Smekday’.

Based on the book ‘The True Meaning of Smekday’ by Adam Rex in which the world is invaded by aliens, Rihanna will star alongside The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons a.k.a. Dr. Sheldon Cooper. The film is currently slated for a Fall 2014 release.

Announcing the news Bill Damaschke, DreamWorks Animation’s Chief Creative Officer revealed, “Adam’s hilarious book is the perfect recipe for a compelling animated feature and we are ecstatic that Jim Parsons and Rihanna will contribute their immense talents to the production. We’re also thrilled that Tim Johnson is back to direct another DreamWorks Animation feature film and show the world just how fun an alien invasion can be!”
