Fergie and co narrowly edge out Scooter, Vengaboys and Tinie Tempah



Black Eyed Peas’ single ‘My Humps’ has been voted as the dance track with the worst lyrics of all time in a new poll.



The poll, which has been carried out by Global Gathering, asked voters to choose the track with “the most ridiculous” lyrics and the ‘Elephunk’ band, who are currently on hiatus, won the poll with 22 per cent of the vote.



German europop group Scooter came in second with their track ‘Nassaja’, and specifically the lyrics “It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane/It must be Dave, who’s on the train”, while the Vengaboys came in third with the lyrics to ‘Up And Down’.



Tinie Tempah came in fourth with the lyrics to his hit single ‘Pass Out’, while Nicki Minaj was fifth with one of the more nonsensical moments of ‘Starships’. Taio Cruz’ rhyming couplet from ‘Troublemaker’, “Your ass from the side looks just like a coke bottle” came in sixth, while The Tamperer feat ‘Maya’ and their line “What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?” was seventh.



Snap, Azealia Banks’ ‘212’ and Audio Bullys’ ‘Snake’ took the other places in the Top 10.
